Two things. Most pick'em pools let you edit your picks right up until each game kicks off, and they reset everyone's record when the season ends. HotPick locks every pick at the first kickoff of the week and then makes the whole pool public, so your call is on the record before anyone knows anything. And your record lives on your account, not inside one pool, so it counts across every pool you join and carries forward season to season.

You need an invite code from your pool organizer. Open HotPick, tap Join a Pool, and enter the code. If you don't have a code, ask whoever set up the pool to send it to you.

Each week you pick the winner of every game. Correct picks earn +1 point. Your HotPick is your highest-conviction call — the game's algorithmically assigned rank (1–16) becomes the stakes. Correct HotPick = +rank points. Wrong HotPick = −rank points. Regular picks can never go negative.

Picks lock at kickoff for each individual game. Once a game starts, that pick is sealed — you can still change your picks on games that haven't kicked off yet.

Yes. You can join as many pools as you like. Your picks and scores exist at the account level — you make picks once and every pool you're in sees the same record. You never have to pick twice.

Try signing out and back in using the same method you used to create your account (Apple, Google, or email). If you've forgotten your email, check for a previous confirmation email from HotPick. Still stuck — email us at support@hotpicksports.com.

Yes — playing in a pool is always free. Organizers pay a one-time seasonal fee to create and run a pool. See our pricing page for full details.

No. HotPick is a game of skill and prediction. No money is wagered or collected between users through the platform. Points have no monetary value.
